The 2010 NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) men's and NCAA women's swimming and diving championship swim meets are among the many March Madness NCAA events. Dana Vollmer had a strong night in the pool Saturday, taking home two gold medals on the final night of competition at the 2010 Austin Grand Prix Swim Meet. Vollmer won both the 200m fly and 100m free, an event in which she also set a pool record. Olympic gold medalist Rebecca Soni also broke a pool record with her swim in the 200m breast.

The 2010 USA Swimming Grand Prix Swim Meet Series continues April 1-3 with the 2010 Columbus Grand Prix in Columbus, Ohio, which is the third stop of the eight-meet series. The winner of the Series will be awarded $20,000 at the final Grand Prix Swim Meet held in Los Angeles, July 8-11.

Two pool records were broken Friday on the second night of competition at the 2010 Austin Grand Prix Swim Meet. Matt Grevers broke the pool record in the men's 100m back with a time of 53.05 while Rebecca Soni set the pool record in the women's 100m breast with a time of 1:06.43. The 2010 Austin Grand Prix Swim Meet, taking place at the University of Texas at Austin, concludes Saturday, March 6.
