Play Tennis - Live Longer

Did you know that you can live 9.7 years longer if you play tennis?  That’s amazing! As reported in Forbes magazine, a Danish study concluded after studying participants over a span of 25 years, tennis was the sport with the most benefits.  Tennis is problem-solving, strength training with your own body weight, great for your heart—good cardio but not too strenuous, but most of all it is social!

Western is proud to be the home of the University of Cincinnati Women's Tennis team and the University of Cincinnati Club Tennis team

The University of Cincinnati Varsity Tennis Team is a Division I program and part of the American Athletic Conference (AAC). UC practices indoors at Western and hosts their indoor matches at Western.  There are no admission fees to watch great college tennis!  Come cheer for your Bearcats at Western!

The University of Cincinnati Club Tennis provides both competitive and recreational tennis to all undergrad/graduate students.  Practices are held weekly at Western and all UC Club members receive free walk-on court time at Western.

I started playing tennis when I was 6 at Delhi Swim Club. Played in the swim club leagues with Delhi up until going to Elder. Played 3 years on the Varsity level for Elder. Fun tennis fact, I'm undefeated on center court at the ATP at 1-0.

I have played tennis since I was 8 years old. I played college tennis at Fairmont State University number 1 singles and doubles. I love to be on the court and help others improve their game.
